This course focuses on developing an understanding of marketing and its role in the delivery of event and engagement marketing. The need to create marketing strategies and to build a strong brand is vital to the success of any business. An experiential marketing strategy is one of the key components of any marketing plan and a key responsibility of an event manager is to maximize attendance, interest, and in some cases build a legacy. Practical application of the theory will occur as students will be presented with an RFP and asked to build an experiential/engagement marketing program.
