The internship course provides students with hands-on practical exposure to the baking industry. The work placement will provide students with the opportunity to train under certified professionals with an approved partner in the baking and pastry industry while integrating a competency based working template as a framework for learning. The work placement encourages students to apply skills and implement knowledge learned in the classroom to the needs of the current workplace. The internship requires students to work 40 hours a week for 7 weeks while communicating with their advisor and tracking their progress for evaluation.
