This course consists of a six week placement in an approved institution and is based on a 37.5-hour training week with completion of 225 hours at the end of sixth (6th) week of placement. (Minimum total of 200 hours). Students have an opportunity to observe and learn from experienced personnel in a professional work setting, while integrating a competency based placement schedule as a framework for learning. The placement experience also provides students with valuable experience and networking opportunities in preparation for a career in nutrition and foodservice management.
