Each year on the 20th of October we celebrate the International Chefs Day. On this day many workshops and activities are hosted around the world for thousands of children to learn about eating healthy.
This year the theme was Art on a Plate and our Humber team together with the World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS) and CCFC Toronto hosted a full day workshop for Grade 6 students at Gore Meadows Community Centre.
The students created three different dishes including pizza, quesadillas and French toast.
Thank you to Chefs Shonah Chalmers and Greg Howe for sharing your skills, giving back to the community and inspiring a whole new generation of chefs!
