From logistics to sponsorship and administration, the students took care of every detail, including the choice of charity. This year, they chose to donate all proceeds to Sophie’s Run, a run taking place from Humber College to Ottawa to raise awareness of colorectal cancer, founded by Hospitality faculty member Nicole Chuchmach. The 5K run also became the first leg of Sophie’s Run for Nicole and her supporters.
