EVENT MANAGEMENT STUDENTS HOST "WILD THOUGHTS" ALCOHOL AWARENESS & SUSTAINABILITY EVENT

December 14, 2017

The issues of sustainability and alcohol awareness go hand-in-hand. Both promote positive change, consumption in moderation and have some amazing organizations on their side. That’s why the School of HRT’s third semester Event Management students planned an event with both these issues in mind. The event was appropriately called “Wild Thoughts.”

On Tuesday, December 12th these students set up a range of informative and engaging booths in the concourse area complete with photos, trivia games and raffle prizes. In addition to learning about valuable sustainability and alcohol awareness initiatives, Humber students got to dress up in props, take photos with their friends, and enter to win prizes including Fitbits and Beats by Dre.

An extra sweet bonus was the pile of delicious snacks including cupcakes, cookies, caramel popcorn and cotton candy. Everything was of course packaged in biodegradable bags.
