SPORT BUSINESS MANAGEMENT STUDENTS HOST REAL TALKS LEADERSHIP SUMMIT

April 12, 2018

A big part of our programs at the School of HRT is teaching our students how to excel at planning and executing industry events. The Real Talks Leadership Summit was a special opportunity for our Sport Business Management students to do this for a very special audience.

On Monday, April 9th The Real Talks Leadership summit hosted a group of guests at Real Sports Bar in downtown Toronto. These guests included all of the Sport Management postsecondary students, and a diverse panel of sporting experts and athletes from all sectors. The event even had a surprise guest arrive – Mr. Pinball Clemons, Vice Chairman of the Toronto Argonauts!

After enjoying a delicious lunch prepared by the Real Sports Bar staff, guests listened to a panel discussion filled with stories and advice from business executives working in the sport industry today. After this, guests participated in breakout sessions focused on best practices and trends in the sport industry. This provided an opportunity for students to ask questions and discuss their burning questions. The day closed with networking and an exciting raffle draw.

Thank you so much to the following panelists and breakout session leaders for joining us for our special event!
