TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS GAME PRESENTATION MANAGER SPEAKS WITH SPORTS MANAGEMENT STUDENTS

April 11, 2018

On April 3, 2018, our Sports Management students in their final semester of studies, welcomed guest speaker Taylor Dean, Manager of Game Presentation for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

As the Toronto Maple Leafs clinch a spot in the 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs, Taylor’s visit could not have come at a better time. Taylor discussed what her role entails as the Manager of Game Presentation, how she achieved her post and what the Leafs have to offer in terms of fan experience. She showed students the Leafs' in-game stadium creative and how it is produced, approved by administration and received by fans. Sports Management students felt like they were part of a Leafs game throughout the entire presentation, minus the ice.

Thank you to Mat Israelson for inviting Taylor to come speak to the Sport Management students. An even bigger thank you goes out to Taylor Dean for taking the time out of her busy schedule to come and speak to our students about her awesome job, and the wonderful career opportunities that await our students upon graduation.
