Leila has a Ph.D. in Biomechanics from the University of Western Ontario. Her Ph.D. research focused on functional fitness testing, specifically the Functional Movement Screen and the Y-balance test.

Kristina holds a PhD in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Toronto, a MSc in Clinical Anatomy from Western University, and a BScH in Life Sciences from Queen's University. During her PhD studies, Kristina also completed a research fellowship at the Wilson Centre in Health Professions Education at the University Health Network in Toronto.
