Carmen Puyo began her journey in fitness at a very young age. She has been a group fitness instructor and personal trainer for the past 20 years. She has worked as a Group exercise manager overseeing three fitness clubs in Toronto and works as a freelance instructor for Equinox Fitness. Carmen is also the founder of The Fit Body Project where she is the lead instructor for outdoor fitness classes. She attended the Fitness and Lifestyle Management program at George Brown. She has additional certifications through Canfitpro, Body Harmonics, Schwinn Cycle and Yoga Alliance. Her fitness expertise is highlighted in her role as an ambassador/alumni for Lululemon Athletica. Carmen believes in giving back. She is actively involved in fundraising events and has successfully raised thousands of dollars for The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation. In March of 2008 she summited to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money and awareness for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Through her education and years of experience, she is driven to help people reach their full potential!
