Caroline Martin is a Registered Massage Therapist who specializes in therapeutic massage and orthopaedic assessments. She graduated from Sheridan’s Sports Injury Management program in 1990 and enjoyed a career in the Athletic Therapy field as a sports therapist/trainer for over twenty years before adding massage therapy to her profession in 2002.
Caroline owns a private practice in Uxbridge where she works closely with a variety of local healthcare professionals in order to provide her clients with the highest quality of care. Caroline is also an educator in her field, teaching part-time for Trimesters at CCMH and Humber College, and in past years at Centennial and Seneca Colleges.
In 2009 Caroline had a chapter she wrote on orthopaedic assessments for the perinatal client published by Elsevier in a Massage Therapy educational text utilized in the UK. Although Caroline’s specialty as an RMT is sports injuries, she also has years of experience in Swedish massage; geriatric and palliative care; as well as being a Doula.
