  • Completed Apprenticeship as a Baker/Patissier in Uruguay, South America
  • Trained under Swiss, Austrian, French and Spanish Pastry Chefs
  • Taught at George Brown college for 10 years
  • Developed the Italian Program for baking at GBC in 2006
  • Voted amongst top ranking 4 professors at GBC in 2009
  • Coached numerous teams for chocolate competitions and bread competitions

  • Was co-owner of pastry shops for many years
  • Worked in hotels, catering companies and major supermarkets
  • Taught bakery and pastry shop owners
  • Managed Kosher kitchen
  • Consulted for Elenka (manufacturer of Italian flavors for gelato and pastry industry)
  • Consulted for “Owl Kids” magazine providing advice on the bread recipe for the book called “Tangerine & Kiwi”
  • Taught courses in the art of gum paste, flowers, pastillage
  • Was a medalist in Can/Am competition in Advanced Cake Design
  • Am the Vice-President of the Pastry Chefs Guild
  • Teach Pastry Arts At Couples Resorts in Jamaica 2 weeks per year
  • Have a Diploma in Hotel & Restaurant Operations
  • Last two years have volunteered at Montgomery Inn teaching art of baking and cooking to elementary and high school students
