Erich Naus

Erich comes from a family of Pastry Chefs including his father and uncles who had patisseries in Maastricht, The Netherlands.  Erich graduated pastry chef from George Brown College in 1987 and completed apprenticeships and internships at Petit Paris, A & A Sweets and Cafe Sommer. He has competed in several Taste of Canada and Chef de Cuisine and was awarded several medals.

Erich ran a successful business for more than 25 years and was responsible for every aspect of baking production He has been a member of the Pastry Chefs guild for more than 25 years and served as vice president for a couple of terms. Erich has served as a judge at a number of showcase events in Toronto, and taught to aspiring chefs and pastry chefs at George Brown.

Erich is very excited to be joining the Humber College Culinary community and is looking forward to the coming year.
