Kojo earned an Honours Bachelor of Sport Management from Brock University and a Master of Science in Sport Management from West Virginia University. Upon completion of his studies, Kojo worked in the private sector for a variety of commercial sport properties including Disney Sports Attractions, NBA Canada Inc. and the CFL.
Kojo joined the Government of Ontario in 2007 where he worked as a Sport and Recreation Consultant for the former Ministry of Health Promotion and Sport and currently works as a Program Advisor for the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport. In his role, Kojo helps Ontarians lead healthy, active lives and supports amateur athletes in their pursuit of excellence through the development and delivery of sport, recreation and community programs.
Kojo also has experience coaching basketball at the community level, provincially and currently as an assistant coach with the York University Lions men’s basketball team. He was a varsity athlete himself, competing in basketball for the Brock University Badgers during the early 2000s.
