Kristin completed an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario. After graduation from UWO, Kristin went on to study Athletic Therapy at Sheridan College. Following graduation from Sheridan with an Honours Bachelor of Applied Health Sciences (Athletic Therapy) degree and passing the Canadian Athletic Therapy Association’s national exam, she became a Certified Athletic Therapist, CAT(C). Following certification, Kristin decided to pursue her Masters of Science degree in Athletic Training and Sports Medicine at the University of Florida. Since completion of her Master’s, Kristin has been working as an Athletic Therapist in a multidisciplinary sports medicine clinic and continues to take courses to improve and further develop her skills and knowledge. She also holds certifications with the NSCA as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and the Red Cross as a First Responder. Kristin enjoys promoting healthy lifestyles through injury prevention and rehabilitation, core stability training, and strength and conditioning practices.
