Lauren Dickler graduated from York University with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Certificate in Sport Administration. After eleven years working in Canadian sport, she decided to transition to consulting. As a consultant, she has provided services to provincial, national and multi-service sport organizations as well as to mental health related charities.
Combining her passion for sport and mental health, Lauren returned to York University in 2013 where she earned her Master of Arts in Kinesiology and Health Science and is currently pursuing a PhD with a focus on mental health in high performance athletes. Lauren is a part time/guest lecturer and tutorial leader at York University, has published in academic journals and textbooks and has presented at conferences in sport and mental health.
A die hard sports fan, Lauren spends her down time cheering on Canadian athletes and Toronto professional sports teams.
