Matthew is currently a culinary instructor at the School of Hospitality, Recreation & Tourism at Humber College. Having over 23 years of culinary experience, he has worked in most aspects of the industry from catering to private golf courses to fine dining and hotels.
He started teaching at Humber College in January 2009 and teaches many of the courses within the curriculum. Matthew graduated in 1999 from Humber College as an apprentice and successfully wrote his provincial trade seal. He has since acquired his designation as a Certified Chef de Cuisine(C.C.C) in May of 2013 from the Canadian Culinary Institute.
In addition to teaching, Matthew owns a catering business as a personal chef, as well as a food truck called Gourmet Guyz, which he established in 2015.
