Nathan Campbell

Nathan is a Certified Athletic Therapist, certified in 2003. Nathan has Masters of Science degree in Biomechanics and Neuroscience from the University of Guelph, a Diploma in Sports Injury Management from Sheridan College and an Honours Bachelor’s of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo. Nathan enjoys teaching at Humber College ITAL as a part-time professor in the Fitness & Health Promotion program. His areas of focus include topics related to applied anatomy, physiology and injury management. Additionally, Nathan is also the Program Coordinator for the FHP program at Humber’s Orangeville Campus. Additional to his teaching role, Nathan also practices in sports medicine as a clinical and field Athletic Therapist. Since 2008 Nathan has worked in a private sports medicine clinic prior to which he was the Head Trainer at a fitness facility. Nathan has also had many roles within the sporting community working with various sports organizations at a variety of levels from community to college, to Olympic. One of which, he was the Head Athletic Therapist for Conestoga College for 3 years. Nathan is passionate about academic and practical development of the Fitness and Health Promotion professional and the active rehabilitation of activity and sport-related injuries and in High Performance Athletic Development. “Play safe, and be able to play harder.”
