Rosemary McDougall

Rosemary has been teaching at Humber with the Sports Management & Recreation and Leisure program for over 18 years. A graduate of the University of Toronto with a degree in life sciences, Rosemary has spent the majority of her career managing sports and recreation in both the public and private sector. As a community school supervisor for the former City of Etobicoke, Rosemary worked primarily in community recreation, along with directing the city's Claireville day camps. Rosemary is also the co-founder and former COO of a successful private sports school called Sports 101. With a focus on skating and hockey, Sports 101 serviced thousands of children throughout the GTA in learn to skate and hockey programs. Under Rosemary's leadership, Sports 101 expanded to include a swim school, golf academy and summer sports camp. After a break to start a family, Rosemary returned to teaching at Humber in 2013 with the Sport Management program. Rosemary most recently completed the Teaching Effectiveness Certification through the Humber Centre for Teaching and Learning.
