Susan Joseph

After completing Chef Training, I began an apprenticeship as a patissier at a fine chocolate boutique in Oakville, and at the same time, as a baker specializing in natural foods.  In 2004, I began a career as a research chef, and was employed in this capacity for over seven years.  During that time, I developed dozens of products for the grocery industry, including the first butter puff pastry in Canada, and gained expertise in manufacturing and food science.  My passion for learning is a large part of why I decided to become an Instructor, and after two years I can honestly say that Humber offers the most well-rounded and comprehensive culinary education in Ontario today.
