Program Coordinator - Fitness and Health Promotion Diploma program
After graduating from Queen’s University with a degree in English Literature, Victoria worked in both the travel and restaurant fields. Following years of participating in fitness classes, Victoria attended her first Group Exercise instructor training course at the local YMCA in 1990 and realized she had found her passion in teaching. Victoria has since been certified in Ontario and British Columbia as both a personal trainer and group exercise instructor as well as completing her RYT (350 hours) training in yoga. She has been a group exercise manager, fitness department manager and assistant manager for the Sports Clubs of Canada at various times in her career. Victoria is currently the acting Program Coordinator for the first year students in the Fitness & Health Promotion Diploma and continues to teach fitness classes within the city of Toronto.
