Antonio Folino has recently been elected to Humber’s Board of Governors as the official Support Staff Representative for a three-year term. Antonio began his career at Humber over 10 years ago. Throughout his time at Humber he has served as a part-time instructor within the School of Hospitality, Recreation and Tourism. He is currently the Coordinator of Catering and Events where he supports faculty and students in bringing their programs and learning initiatives to life.
Throughout Antonio’s career, he has been actively engaged in a variety of student, faculty and support staff initiatives across all campuses. This has allowed him to build relationships across the organization and get involved in meaningful enterprises in a variety of areas. Antonio is passionate about getting involved in fundraising and sustainable initiatives. Some of his past projects have included Bucks for Books, Plant in a Cup and White Elephant Swap.
Antonio looks forward to collaborating with key leaders, mentors and respected colleagues across the college. He hopes to continue to align the school with emerging trends, social shifts, and relevant industry knowledge in order to best serve the needs of all faculty and students. He begins in this role on September 1, 2017.
