EVENT EXECUTION CLASS PREPARES FOR THE NORTH ETOBICOKE SANTA CLAUS PARADE

October 31, 2018

With the holiday season comes many traditions that bring families and communities together. The Santa Claus Parade is a wonderful tradition that brings families from diverse backgrounds together. This year the third-semester Event Execution class here at Humber North has the privilege of having the North Etobicoke Santa Claus Parade as one of their clients. The first North Etobicoke Santa Claus Parade took place last December 3rd, 2017. This year, the second annual parade will be held on December 2nd, 2018. An event this size requires a capable team of hard-working individuals, who all have the same goal in mind.

On October 25th, one of the committee meetings were held here at Humber North in the School of Hospitality, Recreation and Tourism boardroom. The newly elected Ward 1 Councilor Michael Ford had two representatives from his office attend the meeting as well. We are eager and excited to be working with these industry professionals on such a positive community function.

Come out on December 2nd to support our Event Execution class in this venture and partake in the holiday festivities!
