Judy joined Humber as faculty in the Hospitality Management program and has been the program coordinator of multiple programs including Hospitality, Food & Beverage, Hospitality and Tourism Post Grad and Tourism Management developing each program’s curriculum and supporting student success. Judy is the program coordinator for Study Abroad.
Bradley is a former NCAA Division I athlete, competing for Long Island University-Brooklyn’s Men’s Golf team, leading them to the 2004 Northeast Conference Championship and NCAA East Regional.

With over 17 years as Pastry Chef, Devonne’s experience spans the spectrum from fine dining, hotels, and event catering to overseeing a multi-restaurant pastry program.

Erich comes from a family of Pastry Chefs including his father and uncles who had patisseries in Maastricht, The Netherlands.

Canadian born Chef Michael Teune started his career in a small Italian restaurant outside of Toronto.
Michèal is responsible for development of all baking and pastry courses/programs at Humber.
In addition to being a Pastry Chef creator for Aramark Canada, she is also a member of the culinary faculty at Humber College. Her years of training and commitment have given her the ability to teach inspiring chef’s the knowledge and skills required to be a great chef in today’s industry.

Chef Kenneth Ku’s accomplishments as a pastry chef are as numerous as they are impressive. He brings with him over a decade of international experience in Hotels, Michelin Star Restaurants, Catering Establishments and Boutique Patisseries.
Dimuthu Perera is an award-winning pastry chef who has lived in Canada since 2004. He came to Canada with the hope that the opportunities that the country is known to provide would help him further his dream of becoming a world-renowned pastry chef.
David was born and raised in Glencoe, Ontario. His first inspirations were to go into the field of business and engineering, but between first and second year at The University of Ottawa, David discovered his passion for food, focusing on changing his career objectives to Culinary Arts.

Since childhood, Chef Mark Jachecki has been exposed to the culinary life. As a boy, he was introduced to the wonders of the kitchen through the beloved German restaurant, Zum Rhein, located in Toronto on Lakeshore Boulevard West, which was owned by his father in the late 1970’s to early 1980’s.
Tina Horsley is a Registered Dietitian and holds a Master of Health Sciences in Community Nutrition and Public Health. She believes good food has the power to make people, communities and the planet healthy.
Bryn received his Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing Science from BCIT and is the past Executive Director & CEO of the Registered Massage Therapists' Association of Ontario (RMTAO).
After pursuing studies in Life Sciences at the University of Toronto, Patricia attended the Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic, earning her Diploma of Massage Therapy in 1996. After many years in clinical practice, Patricia decided to pursue her interest in education, eventually joining the massage therapy faculty at Humber College in 2015.
Maria Pelliccia has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from York University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Food and Nutrition from Ryerson University.
James Bodanis is a full-time culinary professor in the School of Hospitality, Recreation and Tourism.
He is the team manager and coach for Team Humber, who will be competing in the IKA Culinary Olympics in Germany in October 2016.
Natalie is a Registered Dietitian with expertise in clinical nutrition and counseling. Through her work at the Prince Edward Family Health Team, the North York Family Health Team and the Cleveland Clinic Canada, Natalie has a wealth of experience in counseling patients on nutrition issues related to weight management, chronic disease management and prevention and sports nutrition.
Dr. J.D. Kato obtained a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of British Columbia. After traveling and working overseas for two years, he obtained his DC from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, California where he was his class’s valedictorian.
Amy is a Registered Massage Therapist and Certified Training and Development Professional. She received a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Windsor, as well as a Certificate in Adult Learning and Development from OISE, a division of the University of Toronto. Most recently, Amy has completed a diploma in HealthCare Management through the Ontario Hospital Association.
Born just outside Manchester England, Chef Alastair Gray started his career as an apprentice in a hotel in London. He has been a faculty member of Humber College for four years.
Simon was set on a professional culinary career at the age of fifteen after taking a summer job as a prep cook at a local restaurant in Burlington, Ontario. He found the excitement, energy and pace of the kitchen exhilarating and he was instantly hooked and knew his path.
Nigel was born and raised in San Fernando, in his native country, The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. His passion from an early age, was to enter the culinary field, which he believes he inherited from his father.
Upon graduating from the University of Guelph's Hotel and Food Administration program, Kristy began her career in the hotel business in downtown Ottawa. Within two years of graduating, she became General Manager of a new 130-room hotel in Markham, Ontario.
My career began after graduation from Niagara College where I achieve a diploma in Hotel Restaurant Management. I began working with Canada Packers, now called Gordon Food Service and have had a wonderful twenty-five year career with them.
Rosemary has been teaching at Humber with the Sports Management & Recreation and Leisure program for over 18 years.
Darian is a Certified Exercise Physiologist with a Bachelors degree in Fitness Education from McGill University and a Masters degree in Fitness Specialization from York University.
Tiffany completed an Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2004 at the University of Toronto. Her interest in the link between body and mind as it pertains to health led her to the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where she graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 2008.
Matt holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management from Brock University and a Master’s Degree in Sport & Performance Psychology from the University of Denver. Currently, Matt teaches in both the Fitness and Health Promotion and Sport Management programs in the School of Hospitality, Recreation & Tourism at Humber.
