This winter the School of HRT gave potential students the opportunity to explore its programs in a more intimate, face-to-face setting. On the evenings of January 11th and 18th, we hosted HRT Info Sessions to educate those interested in applying for the upcoming fall semester.

Both evenings began with individual breakout sessions for each of the programs. These breakout sessions covered topics such as program content, alumni stories, pathway options and resources on campus. This was followed by an open Q & A where students and parents were able to ask questions to current faculty and students from each of the programs.

After these individual sessions, students went on tours to see the lab facilities including culinary labs, fitness labs and our on-campus, student-run restaurant, The Humber Room. We then hosted a mix and mingle with refreshments, which allowed interested students to chat with faculty and students one-on-one.

On January 11th Hospitality and Events programs were featured and on January 18th, students explored the following programs: Baking, Culinary, Fitness, Nutrition, Wellness, Tourism and Massage.

The School of HRT's next info session is being held on February 1st for its upcoming Continuing Education programs. Stay tuned for more dates in the future!
