Patricia Belli

After pursuing studies in Life Sciences at the University of Toronto, Patricia attended the Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic, earning her Diploma of Massage Therapy in 1996. Since that time, she has been in private practice applying her constantly expanding knowledge and skill set; her goal has been to provide high quality, client centered care. Patricia’s clinical experience has been extensive, including the treatment of motor vehicle accident injuries, chronic pain syndromes, sports injuries, and symptoms associated with pregnancy/postpartum, and beyond.

After many years in clinical practice, Patricia decided to pursue her interest in education, eventually joining the massage therapy faculty at Humber College in 2015. Since that time, she has enthusiastically been bringing her passion and experience into the classroom. Patricia also held the position of Instructor of Functional Anatomy at the Shiatsu School of Canada.

While at Humber, she was given the opportunity to diversify her experience into the field of research, contributing to a study “Evaluating the Impact of QUALYSIS Motion Capture Technology in a Gait Educational Module for Massage Therapy Students”, which was submitted to the International Journal of Massage and Bodywork for publication.

Committed to giving back to the massage therapy profession, Patricia is dedicated to helping develop the knowledge and refining the skills of future generations of evidence-informed massage therapists.
