The 10th annual Holland Marsh Soupfest was another great success this year with Humber Culinary staff and students winning the Best Soup for a Culinary Institution category. On Saturday, September 29th, five dedicated students joined chef Shonah Chalmers, chef Greg Howe and chef Simon Stenekes to cook up a storm for soup lovers in the GTA.
Humber stood alongside 30 other vendors who prepared soups made of fresh local ingredients from the Holland Marsh. This event was a great opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience, while contributing to the local GTA community by hosting and feeding thousands of hungry guests.
